CCS Spring Spotlight Concert

For our last concert of this season we are highlighting our fantastic musicians. Each section of the orchestra will have their time in the spotlight. The brass and percussion sections will blow you away with their rendition of Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man. The woodwinds will serenade you on this beautiful Friday evening with a wind serenade by Richard Strauss. The strings will tug at your heartstrings with the outrageously gorgeous “Adagietto” from Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 5. We will also highlight 3 of our fabulous musicians with an original composition and 2 concertos, including Julia Ganske and her interpretation of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4.
