CCS Brass Audition Materials

All Brass:

• F major scale, slurred one octave, 2 octaves preferred
• D major scale, staccato, 2 octaves preferred
• Chromatic scale starting on the note of your choice. 1 octave.
• Two contrasting movements (one slow, one fast) from the same work, or two contrasting works. Each excerpt should be about 3 minutes in length.
