CCYS Woodwind Audition Materials

All Woodwinds:

• 1 major and 1 melodic minor scale of your choice. 2 octaves preferred
• Chromatic scale starting on a note of your choice.
• Two contrasting movements (one slow, one fast) from the same work, or two contrasting works. Each excerpt should be about 2 minutes in length.
• You will be asked to play some long notes on the notes of our choice
• You will be asked to sight read a short excerpt provided at the audition.
